Goldwater Scholarship Information Session:\nThursday\, October 20\, 3:00 – 4:00\nTITU\, Union South with Goldwater Scholars Idris Boukahil\, Bailey Flanigan\, Hannah Mast and Thejas Wesley \nCampus deadline: November  21\, 2016\nThe prestigious Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship provides $7\,500 for undergraduate expenses to students who plan to pursue a Ph.D. and research career in mathematics\, the sciences or engineering. (Note: Students who plan to get an MD/Ph.D. would qualify\, but not those who plan to pursue an MD alone.) \nCurrent juniors and sophomores–defined as having 1 or 2 additional year(s) of undergraduate study after 2016-17–may apply for the Goldwater.
